Many items from the Columbia County Heritage collection are under protection of copyright. You must contact the Columbia County Rural Library District for permission to use the items in this collection.

Original photographs were provided by The Blue Mountain Heritage Society. The primary source of information about each of the schools was provided through the book Early Columbia County Schools compiled by Charlotte Hutchens or from the revised version History of Early Columbia County Schools by Rachel Laberge and Patricia Schlachter. By the use of these digital images, texts, audio and video recordings, users agree to follow these conditions of use:

• Materials may not be used for any commercial purpose without prior written permission from the copyright owner and/or owning institution. The Washington State Library (WSL) does not have authority to grant such permission.
